Here
are some of the artists who will be performing at Isla
de Salsa 2007:
At this year’s Isla de Salsa you will have
the chance to see one of the most famous singers in the
world -- legendary Venezuelan salsero and 9-time Grammy
nominee Oscar D’Leon, the Lion of Salsa!
Among the many other musical acts who will perform at
Isla on Nokonoshima is PE’Z, from Tokyo whose bold, brassy
instrumentation of “Samurai jazz” has garnered their success
in Latin America, Europe and Asia. Also on stage will
be Diamantes, led by Alberto Shiroma, whose extraordinarily
successful Okinawan Latina group appeals to all ages.
Another act to look forward to is Fukuoka’s Keitaku, an
energizing acoustic duo.
And there are many other performers who will all be joining
in on the fun at Isla de Salsa. Enjoy two full days of
energizing entertainment!!

show BOTH Saturday and Sunday concert tickets at the information
counter on Saturday. Towels will be distributed on Saturday
