Help keep our environment clean!

New project with TEKU TEKU ~ Trash to Treasure ~

Coming to Isla, please bring your;- used clothes, shoes, sunglasses (basically anything you can wear)

After arriving at the event;

Find the Teku Teku stand.
Leave your used clothes there.
Take a look, if you see something you like, take it.
Even if you don't bring clothes you can still take stuff!
Left over clothes will be donated to the homeless.

WHY join?

1. It's Eco ( Less waste)
2. It’s Free ( so it saves you money)
3. It’s Social ( sharing your stuff with others)

* You can't come to the event but you still want to donate your

Let’s try to reduce the level of carbon dioxide(CO2)!

Please use a bicycle or public transportation. If you take the subway, please get off at "tojin machi station",which is the nearest station to get to the festival.

This year you will see three Velo Taxis waiting at tojin machi station to take you to Isla de Salsa (¥500 ). Why not you use such an eco-conscious vehicle?

The 2009 version of Isla de Salsa, a festival you all know, which is the biggest Latin music event in Japan, wll take place on the 8th and 9th of August.
The concept behind ISLA DE SALSA :An idyllic palce where we can all enjoy music from Latin America and Japan in a lively and friendly atmosphere where the sun, friends, family, dance and –obviously-the music of our talented guest artists are the main ingredients of this fabulous intercultural exchange, that can be summarized in these few words: “Borderless music, borderless mind”. We will be waiting for you for Isla de Salsa!!
